Science of Samadhi (By Pilot Babaji)

Mahayogi Pilot Babaji demonstrates the state of Samadhi: the yogic science of transforming energy and overcoming the laws of time.

Samadhi is an Ocean in which all the rivers are merging. All the rivers are having their own journey. They all are trying to become bigger and bigger even while encountering so many obstacles and problems on the way. The journey of a river, you can realise how difficult it is, yet they are surrendering to each other to reach to the ocean. The way they have started the journey, that is a union of drop of the water. How all drops of the flora and fauna, streams become a river, everyone can imagine. You can watch the water how it floats downards. It is all union and that union is called yoga. Yoga is a science of natural union which has created this universe to become existence. In which everything has come, It is known as existence. That existence is nothingness. Nothingness of the Samadhi, which is the origin of everything and which is the end of everything. You have come out of the Samadhi and you are trying to go back into the Samadhi, but at present you are like a river struggling with many kinds of activities with the hope of becoming an ocean. That journey is called step by step of yoga. River has got a source. River is collection of water, that water is collection of hydrogen and oxygen. They are known as energy. Everything in the form is energy. Energy has movements that is called life. Life is a journey, life is a movement, life is activities. Life has speed. Life has a gap and life has destinations. All these things are because of Time. Time is life, life is time. All the activities happening, it is sequence of time. From begining to the end river is stopped by other force of the energy. but river has come on its own way because river is collection of water, water always goes downwards. It is total surrender. That is why all the rivers can become ocean. We human beings are the life. We have been given a time. But time has been divided by the mind. Mind has further created the time, speed of all the world. All the worlds are the creation of mind. What we see it is mind. What you do, what you think, what you touch, what you smell, what you feel, it is all mind. But you are not mind. mind has its origin. Mind is inertia. Mind is inactive, but who is making it to move, it is electricicty. Electricity is prana. In this universe nothing is active without Prana.

Prana has its origin and prana is carrying everything to everyones destination, what time has been given. Hence you have to use science of the Prana to find out your destiny. Prana is OMNIPRESENT. It is time. How to be silent that is present. In that silence when you are available to yourself - that is SAMADHI.

Let us walk on our journey to reach to the Samadhi. Your body is collection of five elements. It is union of five elements. It is yoga of nature. Yoga of nature is not a dissolving energy. Yoga of nature is creating personality. You are not coming from outside. You are not made by the universal things. It is your personality. So you are bound to be in the world with your personality.

As we have already mentioned about three powerful energies earlier. ICHHA, GYAN AND KRIYA SHAKTI. Samadhi can be practiced by way of Ichha Shakti, Kriya Shakti and Gyan Shakti. to become the way of Universe. Universe has come into form of Body. There are many universes and existence is only one. Thus we have many bodies as universe, but atma is only one within everyone. When universe was born it was evolution and exploration of the Truth. This truth is GOD, it is existence, it is being, SELF. Samadhi is coming back to the source, to the origin. Thus it has to be the science of dissolution. It has to be the science of diffusion. The fusion of all five elements of the body. The truth is the natural science which travels through the higher consciousness to become this, as a human body it takes a long journey. Human body and human consciousness has memory of all past of millions of years. There is nothing in the universe, nothing mysterious in the universe than human body and mind. It is treasure of all human activities. Human beings has got great power of mind which has been duplicating the God power. If you can understand the power of mind for exploration of the world it has become as great civilisation and invention of science as also it has got discovery of science. Its spiritual world is within the mind and to become NO MIND is meditation, which is called SAMADHI.

PROCESS OF PRACTICE

I want to let you meet yourself. The ocean within yourself. Ultimate truth within yourself, God within yourself, Self within yourself. Then it is a root of ascending towards from where we have already descended. Understand that every second evolution is happening in the sun because of the heat. Similarly evolution is happening within this human body because of the heat. Every second it creates a new atom. All atoms are life and move towards a gravitational centre. The whole nature has magnet to accept you and throw you off, that is what is happening in the Universe too. That only happens in the gap. The transformation happens in the gap. If there is no gap it cannot happen. Samadhi too happens in that GAP. Samadhi of all the elements one by one.

While descending the matter or the physical is the last element, which encompasses in it all the five elements i:e earth, water, fire, air and ether. Samadhi is ascending by diffusing from each element.

The first samadhi therefore would be of physical, which is also known as physical Samadhi.

So far you have also understood that Prana is available everywhere in the form of energy at various levels. It is mode of transformation. Energy in the form of fire or what we call as agni is available everywhere in the universe and so it is within our body. In human body it is also called as Dosha agni or the life energies which balance our five elements. Another name for same is Panchamahabhutagni.

1. Akashmahabhutagni - This form of agni takes care of theAir element.
2. Vayumahabhutagni - Element of Wind is taken care by this agni.
3. Tejo and Teja Mahabhutagni - Agni which takes care of fire element itself.
4, Jalamahabhutagni - Agni which takes care of the water element.
5. Prithvimahabutagni - In this form the element of earth is taken care off.

The most powerful amongst it being the JATHAR AGNI-JATHAR'means fire which is carried out in the sto mach. It is the most powerful energy which enables us to digest food in the stomach. How to utilise the same powerful fire which finally is known as YOGA AGNI the fire created by YOGI through various kriyas which help in Samadhi.

Physical is known as element of earth. One has to create certain special power for its transformation. As already understood there is fire in the body. There is a special kind of fire at the Navel Centre, which also represents our solar system.

Below the navel centre, wherein lies the swadhishtan chakra is known as the lunar system.

We all know that earth came out from ocean due to evolution in the ocean. Evolution happened because of energy or fire. The carth comprised in it all the five elements as it descended from all these elements. So to understand it more clearly, if one wants to go in samadhi, the aspirant will have to go through each body, seperating from each element and moving ahead. That means the aspirant will have to start separating the first body, then second body - the body of spirit. He has to practice to generate the heat and while generating the heat he has to develop a gravitation centre, dissolving each element one by one and moving ahead.

As we know, nothing can survive without prana or fire, as each movement is the result of prana or the energy or fire. Waves in the ocean are because of fire, rivers can flow because of fire, trees grow because of fire, human beings grow because of fire -because fire is transformation. How to ascend, separate from each element and move ahead can only happen when we go to the gravity of that fire and transform.

Our practicing certain kriya and pranayam is also creating fire and going beyond. As samadhi is a science of separation and joining so it is ascending. We have mentioned in the latter chapters certain important kriya and pranayam which help in developing awareness and complete oneness with self and finally culminating in Samadhi. However the most powerful kriya which one can practice is AGNISAR KRIYA - as the name itself depicts. Creating such a fire within the body which transmutes and translates each elements into the higher and lighter self. Practicing certain kriyas he has to bring all the energy in centre, that centre becomes the lunar centre which controls all the system and within that centre transformation happens. One has to practice Agnisara sitting in Sukhasana to go beyond physical body, then etheric body to become body of Tejas, to awaken Tejas body. Thus etheric body which is made from water will dissolute the physical body and element of earth will come in front. Water will dissolve the physical body, which will turn into Tejas body and will have control. As you keep practicing, do not forget your awareness in this body is energy. Energy can be balanced by energy. The higher frequency of energy can dissolve within it the energy of lower frequency.

We understood in previous chapters that atma created mind. Prana has become mind, which connects it to Prakriti and as we have understood earlier that prakriti itself has become three dimentional i:e Sata, Raj and Tam, in other words it is combination of Eelectron, Proton and Neurton. The culmination of Bramha-Vishnu and Shiva energies.

Every being has a route. With a route we have come into this world. Life is making a circle cycle. This circulation of life's journey will make it come back to the source from where it originated - all the bodies will die and remain in astral and cosmic world. The different planes of existence as explained in earlier chapters. Once in this bodyless form, human being cannot realise, it will have to go through the etheric body and slowly and slowy ascend to other bodies. As we have seen in earlier chapters that one has to experience each plane of existence to go beyond each plane and finally culminate with origin, which is the Truth, which is the Brahmn, which is the paramtatva or which is the SAMADHI.

VALUE EACH MOMENT. Time does not wait for anyone but it again takes you back to the human form to realise the truth of the life.

Mahayogi Pilot Babaji has demonstrated science of Samadhi nearly 108 times by taking Samadhi at various places in India and quite a few times abroad. Begining from samadhi with the earth element called Bhumigat Samadhi, He has also demonstrated Jal Samadhi, Samadhi in airtight glass, samadhi under ice or snow for 33 days in himalayas. The details of all his Samadhi's are there in the book Discover the secrets of Himalayas. It talks about his early years and how everything came as a happening. Happening because he knows the power of three energies i:e

The power to know called - gyana shakti
the power of Will/desire  - ichha shakti
The power to act - kriya shakti

Some excerpts from the said book will help you understand the science of Samadhi :-

"Any Sadhak or a yogi can divide the human body as per the following algebraically formula -(ab)Xc=ax(bc) or b X (ac).
With the help of addition and substractions he can increse or reduce the size of his body. He should assume ABC as physical, astral and casual bodies. In the second step, he should again assume M and N as astral faculties and faculties of the intellect. All the astral fundamental elements of the human body like the 'chakra's are P and Q should represent Koshas, and all the senses should come within the physical bracket. The casual body can remain with all the organs and I should become free. If you solve this equation, you will discover that 'T' becomes isolated and becomes one with the supreme intelligence. But when it unites with all, it starts functioning within the body. The multiplication will indicate towards BRAMHATATVA and when divided it will start moving on it's own. Through the various combinations of the given algebraic equation, the human body can either be reduced to the smallest astral existence or it's size can be increased e:g-a3+b3+ c3-3abc=(a+b+c). This will reveal one startling fact that astral body with all organs disguised in Koshas or brackets is present within the Koshas of the gross or physical body. In the similar way, casual is also present with all its astral Mahabhoots in the guise of the Mandals. And finally emerges the Atma or soul, which can be perceived in the 'T' and it is the master of all.

The gross body can reach the inner 'self' through the subtle openings. After reaching inward, it unites with the subtle body. this condition is composed of the three mathematical states namely addition substraction and division. The Apan can be willfully pushed upwards, till it establishes a link with prana. It can also be multiplied. The moment the inbuilt suksham mahabhoots, koshas and the nerves come in contact with Apan blended with prana, a hectic activity is generated. Therefore, the yogi opens the doors of Sushmna before raising the Apan Vayu upwards. As a result, the activity obtains a better astral characteristic. Further it detaches itself from other nerves and the physcial body. After severing the connection with the gross form, it unites with the Sukshma Mahabhoots and mental faculties. Before uniting with Chitta and ego, it forces it's way through the chakras and koshas surrenders to mind and Budhi, casts aside the veil of nature, akash and lastly panch prana, due to the union of subtle and casual, it becomes free. Hence forth, all it's further movements are borne by his will. At this stage, the casual and astral can detach and become independent. In the independent state either of them can create its own movements. If the Yogi wants to become only the Atmaprakash, he can do so by eliminating the casual. This 'self illumination is immortal. It is ADVAIT.

A yogi can obtain the status of subtle by fusing the prana vayu to apana and preventing the combination to flow in ida and pingla nerves. This is released in the sushumna column. It passes through the chamber of medulla, the chakras and the knots. Next it begins to move upwards to the Bramha Kapal. The forehead. The inner 'self' there by becomes aware and stars functioning. In this culminating yogic state, there is neither motion nor the rest. The yogi there after breaks the bondage of the body and realises the divine knowledge.

The outer organs of a man's body serve as the first apparatus in the spiritual unraveling. All the sense organs react to the various acts of nature. The reflections of this fusion is then transmitted to the space. It's second result is directed inward which is then analysed and synthesized by mind. The mind transmits the messages of the inner world to the outer world. Hence, the tendencies of a human being are born. Unless the flow of the inner and outer waves is checked, the innate tendencies remain unchanged. Once the flow of thought is arrested, the fusion of Pran and Apan helps in breaking the connection with the Panchbhoot (five elements).

The tendencies present in Sushumna are predominantly pure or sattvik. These pure tendencies throw a cool and soothing light on the brain and detach the yogi from the physical world. The yogi, there after immerses himself in his inner 'self'. And here in lies the culmination of Yoga.

The energy waves released from the navel centre of the sadhak sweep upwards towards his temple. The yogi beforehand closes all the external opening. This precaution is necessary to save the subtle nerves from being damaged by the force of energy. These currents are forced by the Dhauli kriya towards the opposite direction, till they mingle with the Prana. At this point, - Vyana, Udan and Samna began to give their co-operation. The flow of this current can be arrested at different stages with the help of the bandhas and the information of the related organs can be gathered. The chief centre of the nerves, which is located in the shoulders, is activated by the sudden upsurge of the Apan Vayu. This centre of energies in turn, guides the gush of the flowing Apan energy to the inert opening to awaken all the nerves, Kendra's and Mandals of the internal world. As a result, entire body begins to shiver. The sadhak can then arrest this current with the maha-bandha and monitor it's movement as per his will. He can there after stop its movement at three different stages in order to investigate the inert astral organs within the human body.

Finally, with the burst of the powerful light, it detaches itself from the Panch Bhoot and begins to move independently in the astral form. In this independent state, it can move or stay still. Microorganism and Shakti help in all its movements. This state frees the yogi from life and death. The function of all the organs of the body except the heart, come to a stand still. The gyan-Indriyas sustain the beat or the pulsation of the astral body. This pulsation contains the power of the astral body. In this context, we can undertake the anatomy of the human brain. The exterior of human brain can be compared to the seed of a walnut. Out of the many lines, which are engraved on pushed aside reveals a lump of flesh, which looks like the upper portion of human thumb, but this is slightly roundish in shape. It continuously emits whitish golden rays inside the human body. Outside this Pinda, the source of thousands of nerve can be seen. In the centre of the Pinda, tri-colored ten stars, which have the whitish hue in excess, shine brilliantly. These prominently colored stars maintain the link between the external and the internal world. They also represent the ten senses or the Indriyas A little higher on the left section of the Pinda a bright star can be seen. This bright star represents the human mind under the influence of the Chitta. It sends messages to the humans in the forms of different tendencies and establishes the code of worldly behavior. A little farther from this star is another star, which shines like North Star. This star is Budhi and contains all the knowledge of the world. All the micro cells connected with the heart emerge from this point. The astral body is latent in the Koshas of prana, mind and science. A yogi or a sadhak can move in and out of the gross body through the medium of the astral body. The fusion of the three principal nerves-Ida, Pingla and Sushumna is present at the centre of the temple of a yogi in the form of a glorious divine light. This light enables the yogi to see the living entities of the astral world. He can survey the entire Bramhand with the help of this divine insight. In modern terminology, we can say that this divine sight plays the role of an antenna between the astral body and ether (Aakash). When the yogi emerges in the astral form, he does not require the assistance of this divine light. The subtle body comes to life only when it receives the light from the Jiva atma. Moreover, through the medium of waves of the light, the astral body transmits the internal and external messages. The subtle body can travel without any hindrance to different Lokas. It can also contract its size at will and reappear in a bigger shape wherever it feels like. The most incredible trait of the astral form is this that it can assume multi forms simultaneously. I have often assumed various forms in Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, and Almora and have amazed people by appearing at different places simultaneously. Till date, the people of these towns remember this incredulous incident.

One of the miraculous feats of a yogi is the creation of human form by his will force. In the astral state, the yogi can make use of his thought force and achieve the desired result. My relationship with Devraha Baba began with the exchange of the thought vibrations and till today we use this extraordinary mode of communication. We have never met, but we know each other very well. The use of thought force as a mode of communication.

A Mahayogi who has acquired the knowledge of Panchbhoot is known as a tattva- Darshi and with the astral elements, a Tatva Darshi can both create and dissolve a human form at will. In the astral state, a yogi can also unravel the mystery of the galaxies of the space. He is fully animate in the astral state and can freely utilize the power of his thought vibrations. He can also make use of this rebirth. The womb and the place of birth can also be dictated through this medium.

I have successfully commanded many souls to take birth. The birth of a son in Mohan Singh Soni's house in Rudrapur, Munni Shah's son in Pithoragarh is two instances, which confirm the power of my thought vibrations. Since men and women are caught in the vice of passion and physical gratification, many pure souls do not find suitable wombs and are thus deprived of the chance of rebirth. Kambeli or the sexual urge in human beings has been designed for procreation. But man has deliberately ignored its true function and has used it for sexual satisfaction. If a couple wants to have a child of exalted character the following rules should be observed - a disciplined way of life, patience and the auspicious time. As such, it is my earnest appeal to all mothers of this world that they should give the opportunity of rebirth to the great souls, who are keen to come back to this world and save it from decay and degeneration."

There is much more explanation in the book which works as a guiding tool.

You as an aspirant can understand how the three powerful energies of Ichha Shakti, Gyan Shakti and Kriya Shakti can help one ascend back to the Origin - call it TRUTH - call it ATMA - call it SUPREME CONSCIOUSNESS OR PARAMATMA. THE GREATEST ELEMENT. That is your Samadhi - a journey from 'FORM to FORMLESS".

For the preliminary practices we have mentioned few mudras and kriyas for you to get prepared and when the time comes, you will experience this sacred and secret science under the able guidance of a capable Siddha yogi's of Himalayas.
