Shiva

Let us draw a circle with a compass. A circle has its center, and regardless of its radius, the center remains unchanged. Without this center, the circle cannot exist; the center is its foundation. Yet, the center of the circle has no material manifestation. It must not have a radius, for if it did, it would be another circle. Thus, the center of the circle exists and simultaneously does not exist. The center of the circle is the Void from which the circle emerges. And no matter how many circles there are, their center will always be the same universal Void.

Every system—be it a human, a cell, or a Solar system — has its center. This center is the universal center of all centers. If we reach this center, we reach Shiva. Shiva is the Universal Center of all systems of existence. Shiva is the Void from which everything arose and into which everything will return.

As human beings, we have the capacity and opportunity to reach the center of Ourselves. By reaching the center of Ourselves, we become Shiva. Shiva is nothing other than our true nature. Words cannot describe this; it can only be experienced firsthand. Yet, this is not an experience of expanding the boundaries of our perception—such perception is merely a product of the mind. The true experience of Ourselves is the experience of No-mind; it lies beyond understanding. The mind only tries to describe what happened, inventing names and definitions, but this yields nothing. Those who have only experienced the expansion of perception speak much of Samadhi, unlike those who have actually had the experience—they say nothing about it.

Thus, Shiva is the ultimate goal of our journey. Shiva is our goal and our Selfhood.
