Samadhi — a Leap into the Transcendent

Yogi’s leap to Samadhi: Shiva & Shakti union beyond mind and time. Experience transcendence with Yogi Isha.

Life constantly presents us with surprises, while the happiness we long for often turns out to be nothing more than a mirage. Days pass, sometimes even years, and everything seems to repeat itself in a circle. The mind creates countless problems, yet at the same time it is capable of solving the most complex tasks.

Samadhi is beyond the mind (not the mind); it is abidance in our true nature. We are not the body, not emotions, not the intellect, and not the mind. We are that which stands behind all of them. Our true nature exists in the realm of the transcendent, and the mind cannot enter it. To know our true, immortal Self, we must make a leap into the transcendent—we must detach from everything that we are not in truth. The mind is very powerful, and it resists this leap, because in doing so it would lose its “director’s position” and no longer hold power over us.

We come into this world to be happy, to experience love, to experience joy, to experience life. Yet the mind constantly interferes, wanting to act as a mediator between us and our direct perception. As a result, we do not see the world as it is; we perceive only its description, filtered through the mind’s interpretations. The true nature of the human being is Ananda—bliss. And only the mind can distort this divine experience into something diminished, and at times even degrading.

Samadhi can happen at any moment, because no one truly enters or leaves Samadhi. Samadhi is ever-present; it is our authentic experience of Ourselves. No one has exclusive rights to Samadhi. It is something each person must experience directly—a meeting with Oneself. Nothing and no one can stand between us and Samadhi. Yet for Samadhi to unfold, the grace of the Guru is needed.

It does not matter by which path we arrive at Samadhi, because on the way to it, everything can become a means. And when it happens, a realization dawns: no one has gone anywhere; we have simply returned to where we have always been. You understand that you were never born and that you will never die. Samadhi is closer than anything else. It is not a mystical or astral experience; it is the experience of Oneself—abiding in one’s Own Essence, beyond the mind. Samadhi does not oppose the mind. The mind is a powerful and useful instrument, but it is only a limited reflection of the Soul.

Samadhi arrives unexpectedly. It cannot be calculated, and it is not bound by time or space. Samadhi dissolves the boundaries between “I” and “you.” Samadhi is our true home, beyond mind and time. To reach it, one must overcome fear—the inseparable companion of the mind—and make the leap into the transcendent. Samadhi is emptiness, but not absence. It is the Emptiness from which the world is born—the union of Shiva and Shakti, the Manifested and the Unmanifested.
