Prana

Radiant streams of Prana filling the accumulator centers in a yogi's body, leading to the cessation of the mind and the higher state of Samadhi.

Prana is the vital life force; it is present in everything. Without Prana, there would be no life. Nothing can exist without Prana. Without Prana, everything is dead. Prana can heal our body and mind. Prana can be consciously accumulated and stored in certain centers, much like a battery.

Prana and the Mind are interconnected. If the flows of Prana stop, the mind also stops. Neither thoughts, nor sensations, nor any activity can exist if Prana has ceased. Conversely, if you stop the mind, Prana will stop. When the flows of Prana, and with them the mind, come to a standstill, the Yogi goes beyond the mind. He is no longer bound by the limitations of the physical body and mind; then he enters Samadhi. One must practice Prana and then discard this practice—then the leap occurs from ignorance to Truth, from darkness to Light, from death to Immortality.
