Liberation and salvation are attainable. Realization can happen. Life, in the end, reveals its secrets to the one who keeps walking—who rises again and again after falling, and who does not allow defeat to take root in the mind. Success or failure depends solely on whether the mind accepts or rejects what is.
The power of thought is real; it influences events, phenomena, objects, bodies, and all matter. When one remains unwavering in intention—Sankalpa—it is possible to reach great heights, to become like the divine beings, even to attain powers comparable to Shiva himself. Yet truth will not arrive without the Heart. The Heart can reach That which nothing else can. Only the Heart can contain love, which is the very cause of the world. Heart and Love have the power to unite and to remove obstacles to the manifestation of the Great Self. This cannot be explained, described, or grasped by the mind. The Heart does not divide; within diversity it sees the One—it sees itself everywhere and itself in all things. Thus, by helping ourselves, we help the world, and by helping the world, we help ourselves.
Great Love exists regardless of circumstances. No obstacle can prevent the Divine from manifesting itself. That which was once bound will always continue, even across many lifetimes. Nature moves very, very slowly; it takes time—often more than one life—for the Flower of the Soul to bloom and for nature to be ready for the meeting. Therefore, presence is essential. The form or status in which it occurs does not matter. The mind cannot foresee or calculate what will be best. What is best unfolds on its own. And what truly matters for us is acceptance and abiding in the Great Expectation. No matter how long the night lasts, dawn is inevitable. No matter how long the river flows, it always merges into something greater than itself. One only needs to wait, and everything will come to pass. There is great power in this waiting, for Sankalpa has no reverse movement.
