Spiritual Restlessness (Inquieto spiritualea)

The Buddha left the royal palace and set out in search of the meaning of existence. What drove him to do so? Pain. Only Pain possesses the power of Great Transformation. The same Pain compelled Jesus to go among people with the Word of Great Love. The same Pain moved other Great Souls to be born and to walk a path filled with profound experience of Truth, Being, and Love.

Everyone, to some extent, experiences this Pain, yet hides it—even from oneself. But when this existential Pain is revealed, a person can no longer deceive themselves. From this moment, a path inevitably unfolds—a path that leads to transformation. And transformation is possible only through Tapas—a special Fire that a human being can generate.

And this Tapas shines like prayer. Life itself becomes Prayer. Nothing remains inert; everything is transformed under the heat of Tapas, in order to be led to the Lord—and ultimately, to lead oneself to Truth. To become Prayer itself.
