Freedom's Taste (Con gusto liberta)

To know one’s True Self is to know Great Love. Only the one who has realized Oneself can express such immortal Love toward others. This Love does not come from the mind — it contains no calculation or expectation, no desire to receive something in return, and no egoism. To encounter such Love in one’s life is the same as encountering the Lord. Such Love gives the experience of the Great Self, the experience of the One Lord in His infinite diversity.

Blood, water, and wine are symbols of the body of the immortal essence that is Christ, and this essence exists within each of us. Christ within everyone is the immortal essence manifesting as Great Love. The realization of this Higher Nature is the most sacred Communion. It is the union with our true essence, with Truth, with the Lord, with the Self.
