Mahatma

A Mahatma is a Great Soul who has gone beyond the mind and the limited “self” and has become a conduit of the Universal Will. A Mahatma is not merely a human being, but a living portal to higher realms. These are the holy Himalayan Masters who exist beyond time, preserving their physical or subtle bodies for millennia in order to maintain the balance of the planet.

Mahatmas are bridges connecting two shores: our earthly world and the boundless Ocean of the Absolute. They come not by personal desire, but in response to the call of Being itself and of those who invoke them. An encounter with a Mahatma is a great Divine grace, which in truth becomes a fateful piece of the puzzle of our life. Through the music of the Shakti Orchestra and through the blessings of teachers such as Pilot Baba, one may touch the energies of the Mahatmas, which help awaken us from the sleep of the mind and reveal the light of our own immortal Soul.
